Our Parent & Tot class immerses you and your child in Japanese through songs, stories, and fun activities—English support included when needed.
PRESCHOOL
(3-5 YEARS OLD)
Small classes, big learning—immersed in Japanese! Our preschool combines Japanese language and culture with high-quality childcare in a small, nurturing setting. Each month, children explore new themes through fun, engaging activities, guided by our experienced educators.
SCHOOL AGE
(KINDER-12 YEARS OLD)
Play, Learn, and Explore in Japanese!
At our NIHONGO Club & Spring/Summer Camps, we offer A Japanese-only space where kids of all ages explore language and culture through games, stories, and themed activities all year long.

Open House (Free Play Group) is on every second Saturday in October through June.

ABOUT US
JLC Victoria was born out of a passion for Japanese bilingual education in Canada.
A mother had an idea of opening the first Japanese immersion preschool for her own child . Since then, this first and only BC licensed Japanese immersion childcare on Vancouver Island has been growing with experienced childcare professionals and the local community.
We value "Learn through Play" method and strongly believe that children learn the best through play; therefor, our priority is to keep our activities always fun and enjoyable for children.
